The Samos Plus are a 2mm thicker version of the regular Samos meant for multi-day races on road or track. They are the sandals of choice for long road races or 24/48 hour road/track events. The extra thickness provides a little more comfort during longer runs – when your feet get tired and you don’t want to feel every bit of stone and gravel. The Samos Plus are a bit more robust than the regular version, yet still light and nimble. 
Product Specifications

Footbed - 0,8 mm thick microfiber footbed that has the feel of leather but with a greater capacity to manage moisture.
Sole - 8 mm Vibram Mandorlo Morflex – a micro-cellular rubber, with only half the weight, but with excellent grip and durability.
Total thickness - 8,8 mm
3-in-1 strap system - One continuous nylon strap is fixed to the sole with a full metal plug. A single sliding buckle gives you three options for wearing. They're shipped as pictured in what we call the diagonal-fixed set-up. This is the most all-round set-up that we've chosen as the standard set-up for our sandals.
